The Belted Galloways is a 4-5 piece band founded in Hull, MA by Greg Jones, a sea captain and native of the coastal town. Over the course of many, many decades, Captain Jones assembled a group of friends and local musicians to join in performing his well-curated mix of Americana, Rock and other popular music. In its current configuration, the band is known as The Belted Galloways – named after the ‘Oreo’ striped cows that graze on nearby Turkey Hill. The Galloways’ blend of modern and classic covers is well-suited for bars, events and any venue where lovers of music gather to socialize.
